The Wireless West Conference opened yesterday in Denver with a golf outing and assorted administrative meetings. The conference, being held at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, runs through tomorrow with a series of panel discussions and speakers covering multiple aspects of the wireless infrastructure sector. Hosted by five wireless associations spanning the West Coast and Rocky Mountain States, the supporting groups are: Arizona Wireless Association, California Wireless Association, Colorado Wireless Association, Nevada Wireless Association and Northwest Wireless Association.

Its goal is to educate the wireless community and provide a forum where industry professionals can join together for two days of shared learning and networking. Wireless West attendees will be provided the opportunity to attend keynote addresses and breakout sessions hosted by top wireless executives and thought-leaders throughout the industry, as well as receive exclusive insight on what’s new in wireless.

Today’s schedule includes the Conference Welcome in the Grand Ballroom followed by sessions that include speakers Melissa Acosta, President of Front Range Wireless and Alda Licis, COO of Tilson Infrastructure.

The Tower Hour moderated by Clayton Funk, Managing Director of Houlihan Lokey, will feature panelists Bob Glosson EVP and COO of Vertical Bridge; Dave Bacino, CEO of CTI Towers; and John Kapulica, CEO of Horizon Towers.

The day’s activities will conclude with a networking reception in the hotel’s ballroom.
